WHERE MUSIC DWELLS
Villa Arconati – FAR welcomes young students and their families for four days of the Do Re Milano project under the banner of music and the discovery of historical and artistic heritage.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Augusto Rancilio Foundation, participants will be taken through the fascinating spaces of the Villa, immersing themselves in its history and architecture.
During the day, the Antonio Carlo Monzino Foundation will lead the violin-making workshop “Le Mani Sapienti”, a unique opportunity for young students to approach the art of violin-making and try their hand at building a musical instrument, thus discovering the craftsmanship and sound value of these precious artifacts.
At the conclusion of the day, boys and girls will take part in a conversation-concert with a string quartet from Le Dimore del Quartetto, this special moment will explore the deep connection between chamber music and the environments of historic homes.
An educational and engaging experience combining music, history and craftsmanship, which aims to stimulate creativity and passion for the art of music in new generations.

PROJECT DO RE MILANO
Do Re Milano – Discovering Cultural Heritage through Music was created with the goal of addressing educational poverty among children aged 6 to 11 from peripheral and semi-peripheral urban areas of Milan affected by socio-economic fragility.
Culture and music serve as central tools to combat educational poverty and reduce social, cultural, and economic marginalization.
The Do Re Milano project designs exploratory journeys through cultural spaces, using music to transform them into creative hubs. Through active participation, children discover their passions and develop creativity, imagination, and emotional expression.
