A dialogue between a String Quartet and a musician from another musical genre. An experiment to show the audience that, even if one belongs to very distant musical genres, it is possible to create an original and creative exchange that can generate wealth for artists and fans, crossing knowledge, breaking down barriers and stereotypes, and demonstrating that music has no defined perimeters but that every genre can give emotions.

The String Circle promotes fine lutherie craftsmanship and supports the career of young musicians in a circular economy. Through an international mapping of the best ateliers, the project puts in connection the excellence of lutherie with the new promising generation of musicians. In collaboration with the Fondazione Museo del Violino Antonio Stradivari and with the patronage of the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte and the Michelangelo Foundation.

ART AND TERRITORY

The Fondazione Brivio Sforza, in collaboration with Le Dimore del Quartetto and with the support of the Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Milano, is installing the first statue dedicated to a woman in Milan. Le Dimore del Quartetto has also organized an itinerary of concert conversations to turn a spotlight on the extraordinary life of this heroine of the Risorgimento and to suggest a starting point for a broader collective recognition of women’s action in history and in the contemporary world.

The timeless experience of an artistic residency is extended to painters and sculptors thanks to scholarships made available by the Brivio Sforza Foundation.

The artists, selected by Galleria Rubin, are guests for a week in the chosen Italian residences to produce sketches and sketches inspired by the places, spaces and territories that host them.
