Contemporary art in a historic villa

This historic villa, with its magnificent Italianate gardens, in the 1950’s inspired visionary art patron Giuseppe Panza di Biumo to create what was to become one of the most important collections of post-war American art outside the U.S. Today, over 150 works that celebrate light and colour are on view. Panza’s great achievement was his innate talent to create seamless harmony between the villa’s interior and its gardens, its priceless Italian furnishing, African and pre-Columbian art collections.
