Quartetto Miral was born in 2019 in Bologna within Conservatorio G.B.Martini from the passion for chamber music that has always united its members: Daniele Negrini (First Violin), Anna Merlini (Second Violin), Irene Gentilini (Viola) Jacopo Paglia (Cello).

The Miral Quartet undertakes its study under the guidance of Maestro Aldo Campagnari, Second Violin of Quartetto Prometeo.

For the year 2020, after positive audition evaluation, they enrolled in the Master’s program of the European Academy of the Quartet, at Scuola di Musica of Fiesole.

In 2021 they were selected among the 4 finalists at the Pietro Marzani Competition in Rovereto.

They have also participated in Masterclasses with numerous quartets including Quartetto Prometeo, Quartetto Nous and Quartetto Ysaye.
