PALAZZO DEGLI ANTOCI, RAGUSA

Categories , ,

The eclectic and ingenious vision of the master of Sicilian Liberty is visible in every corner of Palazzo Antoci. The current structure of the historic building is due to the architect Paolo Lanzerotti: in the early decades of 1900.
Yesterday as today, today as yesterday: thanks to the painstaking conservation work carried out by the current heirs – Donna Franca, together with her family – every  detail of an unforgettable past continues to live in grace  and elegance.

A dance of movements and raw materials, colors and furnishings in a romantic balance between the outside, with the distinctive limestone facade furrowed by the beautiful balconies in pitch stone, the colorfulTiffany-style windows that overlook the halls and the inside, with precious chandeliers, soft upholstery, antique floors, ceilings finely decorated and sumptuous stucco.  The sumptuous ballroom stands out, dominated by the precious Murano chandelier in bronze crystal with cobalt blue extrusions, designed in detail by Lanzerotti himself.

The spaces of this noble building, restored in 2019, with five rooms dedicated to the women of the family, rapresent the heart of  the hospitality of Palazzo Antoci.
