Le Dimore del Quartetto

This elegant Umbertine residence was built in the period during which the Italian capital was transferred from Turin to Florence. The house overlooks the new Viale dei Colli that connects the city to the panoramic viewpoint of Piazzale Michelangiolo.
Sober and majestic, the house was built for a German businessman who wanted a representative residence, characterised by decorated large rooms and surrounded by a terraced garden.
In the past, the house was shabby and unkempt but it has been completely restored to its original splendour.
