The Quartet ‘Dulce in corde’ was born in 2018 out of the pleasure of making music together and the love for this chamber ensemble. The Latin name, whose literal meaning is ‘sweetness in the heart’, plays on the misunderstanding given by the word ‘corde’, which means ‘heart’, but is reminiscent of the strings of instruments. Sweetness, therefore, of the heart that is reflected in the sweetness of the sound.
