Casa Regina Montis Regalis is located in Vicoforte, a small village in the Monregalese area in the province of Cuneo, nestled among the gentle hills of southern Piedmont. It stands next to the majestic Santuario-Basilica Regina Montis Regalis, renowned for its impressive elliptical dome, the largest of its kind in the world. This religious complex, established from the 16th century onward, soon became an important site of Marian devotion and pilgrimage, thanks to an ancient miraculous image of the Madonna and Child, venerated by the faithful since the 15th century.
Casa Regina Montis Regalis, originally a 17th-century convent, has been carefully restored and now houses a hotel and restaurant, as well as a conference center and a house of spirituality. Its interiors preserve the quiet, contemplative atmosphere of the original monastery, with frescoed corridors and rooms that evoke the charm of a bygone era. Its 45 rooms are equipped with modern comforts while maintaining a simple and elegant style, in keeping with the spirit of the place.
Casa Regina is set within a unique landscape and spiritual context, where art, faith, and nature blend harmoniously. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the Monregalese area, rich in food and wine traditions and natural itineraries between the Maritime Alps and the Langhe. A place of peace and reflection, Casa Regina Montis Regalis continues to be a symbol of hospitality, culture, and heritage.
