The Arima Quartet was formed in September 2020 and is based in Helsinki (Finland) where the four members are currently studying master in musical performance.

They have received regular lessons from Marko Ylönen (Sibelius Academy) and Antti Tikkanen, (first violin of the Meta4 Quartet.). They also have received masterclasses of important chamber musicians such as Petri Aarnio, Tero Latvala and Kirill Kozlovski among others. 

In September 2021 they were selected to participate in the Jeunesses Musicales Chamber Music Campus in Weikersheim where they received lesson from Cuarteto Casals, Günter Pichler (Alban Berg Quartet) and Heime Müller (Artemis Quartet).
On the same month in their first participation in Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition 2021, they were selected as semifinalist, playing some concerts in Norway organized by the Trondheim Chamber Music Festival.

In December 2021 they have been selected to join Le Dimore del Quartetto Network.

One of their most remarkable performances in the last year, was their appearance in the chamber music matinees in Musiikkitalo (Finnish National Chamber Music Hall) playing Beethoven “Serioso” String Quartet in the Beethoven 250 anniversary.
They are currently preparing other projects, concerts and competitions.
