The ADAM Quartet is a young ensemble that seeks to breathe new life and form a fresh perspective to the string quartet tradition while staying true to its essence.

Formed in 2020 after graduating from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, the quartet is a member of the Dutch String Quartet Academy (NSKA) where they receive coaching from artistic director Marc Danel and have taken masterclasses from renowned musicians such as Eberhard Feltz, Pavel Fischer, Luc-Marie Aguera, Gary Hoffman, and Daniel Rowland.

The ADAM Quartet has performed at notable events and venues such as the String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam, the Grachtenfestival, the Storioni Festival, Stift Music Festival, International Music Sessions, International Chamber Music Festival Schiermonnikoog, Gaudeamus, and in large halls such as the National Opera, Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, TivoliVredenburg, and the MIRY concert hall in Ghent. They have also been featured on television and radio shows including Podium Witteman, AVROTROS, NPO Radio 4 Spiegelzaal, and the Muziekfabriek.

In 2020, the ADAM Quartet was awarded the String Quartet Scholarship from the Kersjes Fund, recognizing their talent and potential as a rising ensemble in the classical music scene. With their passion and dedication to the string quartet genre, the ADAM Quartet is one to watch in the future.
