Starting May 21 at 9:15 p.m., Sky Arte will broadcast two documentaries dedicated to the Musica con Vista Festival, the first widespread festival of chamber music that brings together young international talents, unique art venues and territories to be rediscovered.
Produced by 3D Produzioni with the direction of Francesca Priori and the participation of Marco Magnifico, President of FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano, the documentaries take the viewer on a visual and aural journey between Padua and Palermo, two cities symbolic of Italy’s cultural heritage.
In the first episode, Quartetto Goldberg accompanies the audience through the iconic sites of Padua, from the Scrovegni Chapel to the Civic Museums complex at the Eremitani, to Villa dei Vescovi, a FAI property nestled in the Euganean Hills.
In the second episode, the Quartetto Rilke, a female ensemble, takes us to the heart of Palermo, among the stuccoes of the Oratorio di Santa Cita, the Baroque beauty of the Church of Santa Caterina d’Alessandria and the aristocratic atmosphere of Villa Niscemi.
Each episode weaves together intense musical moments, interviews, backstage and guided forays into historic residences, cloisters, palaces and gardens, offering a deep narrative of the territory and the lives of the young musicians featured.Telling a hidden Italy between music, art and beauty
