The ensemble was founded in 2017 by students of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (Poland). The musicians are currently continuing their studies at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien in Vienna (Austria).

They have won several international chamber music competitions, such as the “Nouvelles Etoiles” International Music Competition in Paris (1st prize in 2021), the Quebec International Music Competition in Canada (1st prize in 2020), the Moscow International Music Competition (1st prize in 2020) and the 3rd Brilliant Talent Discovery Awards International Music Competition in Singapore (1st prize in 2019). Cuore Piano Trio also received 1st prize in the International Music Competition “For Concert Tours to China” in Denmark (2020), which will lead to a concert tour to China in 2022/2023 consisting of 10 recitals, where the ensemble will perform the forgotten masterpieces of Polish chamber music composers.

Brera/Musica is the project of the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan that explores and deepens the relationships between visual art and music, an integral part of the development of the academic, intellectual and artistic dimension of the Pinacoteca’s works.

From 16 March to 21 December, the musicians of Le Dimore del Quartetto, in dialogue with curator and art historian Alessandra Montalbetti, introduce the public to the atmospheres of the pictorial and musical landscapes that are the protagonists of this edition.

Concerts are online on the third Thursday of each month, starting at 6 p.m., on the website of the Pinacoteca di Brera and Le Dimore del Quartetto.
