CUARTETO IBERIA
Marta Peño Arcenillas, violiN
Luis Agustín Rodríguez Lisbona, violin
Aurora Rus Tomé, viola
Arnold Rodríguez Zurrón, cello
Cuarteto Iberia was born in Madrid at the end of 2017, from the shared passion for chamber music of four young musicians, whose individual desire has always been the in-depth study of the string quartet repertoire.
The quartet has been able to maintain the musical traditions of the masters while adding a new perspective to the interpretation of the great pieces of the chamber music repertoire. One of the quartet’s most distinctive qualities is its versatility in embracing the music of different composers and creating projects based on research and study of composers from different periods and styles.
Cuarteto Iberia’s participation in the Boccherini Open Gold Festival in 2018 received great critical acclaim for their interpretation of Luigi Boccherini’s opera, boosting an already promising career.

BRERA MUSICA | THE PROJECT
Brera/Musica is the project of the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan that explores and deepens the relationships between visual art and music, an integral part of the development of the academic, intellectual and artistic dimension of the Pinacoteca’s works.
From 16 March to 21 December, the musicians of Le Dimore del Quartetto, in dialogue with curator and art historian Alessandra Montalbetti, introduce the public to the atmospheres of the pictorial and musical landscapes that are the protagonists of this edition.
Concerts are online on the third Thursday of each month, starting at 6 p.m., on the website of the Pinacoteca di Brera and Le Dimore del Quartetto.
