The Castello di Thiene is considered the most conspicuous Gothic building of the fifteenth century built in the Vicenza area for civilian use; extraordinary example of a pre-Palladian Venetian villa, the only example of its kind, both for its architectural characteristics and for its functional destination, a cornerstone in the evolution of the Venetian villas.

Castello di Thiene will open its doors to the public on the occasion of Musica con Vista, Thursday July 9th and Thursday July 23rd. The Castle will be open from 2 to 6 pm. Reservations required on the website www.castellodithiene.com

Immersed in a secular park of over 30,000 square meters, Villa Ghislanzoni is a historic residence dating back to the 18th century, inserted in a large and complex architectural complex, which also includes Villa Gazzotti Marcello, designed and built by the famous architect Andrea Palladio and Unesco World Heritage site since 1994.

The Villa will be exceptionally open for Musica con Vista for a guided tour on Thursday 23rd July. There are two rounds of visits: at 6 pm and at 7 pm. The guided tour is free, reservations are required by Monday, July 20th by sending an email to info@ledimoredelquartetto.eu (indicating the preferred visit shift). The visit will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 10 participants per shift.
