In 2018, Le Dimore del Quartetto won the iC-innovazioneCulturale (Cultural Innovation) call of Fondazione Cariplo, obtaining an Accompaniment Path on the design of a cultural enterprise and a Grant of €100,000.
The 2018 edition had 321 applicants: among the 20 projects selected for the Accompaniment Path, only 6 projects received financial support for starting up a cultural enterprise.

The iC-cultural innovation project was launched by Fondazione Cariplo in 2013, with the aim of supporting the start-up and development of entrepreneurial activities with a high rate of cultural innovation. Each edition of the project (between 2013 and 2018 there were 4) was divided into three phases, divided by moments of evaluation and selection:

Phase 1 – Launch of the iC call
Phase 2 – Accompaniment path on the design of a cultural enterprise by Fondazione Fitzcarraldo and Make a Cube in the rooms of BASE Milano, pitch of the participating organizations in front of a jury of cultural innovation experts, presentation of the project with request for contribution to the Fondazione
Phase 3 – Start-up of the cultural enterprise with a non-repayable grant from Fondazione Cariplo up to €100,000 for each cultural enterprise

iC has had considerable success over the years, in terms of number of participants to the call (which was open to physical persons, therefore to individual innovators) and has become, on the subject, a reference national initiative.
