Houses, music, art: itineraries for the discovery of hidden treasures of the territory
On the occasion of Bergamo-Brescia Capital of Culture 2023, the Bergamo Brescia Festival – Houses, music, art: itineraries for the discovery of hidden treasures of the territory is born.
A five-stage festival, to be held in May 2023, aimed at highlighting hidden treasures in the territory of the two Lombard provinces.
The festival creates an itinerary between the two cities that leads to the discovery of places that are usually inaccessible or little known, with the opening to the public of five historical houses and the active presence of the owners, who make themselves available to illustrate the history of the family and the place.
All the houses are surrounded by landscapes and nature to be discovered in an itinerary that allows visitors to savour the history of ancient families and places that are still little known.
Each stage of the festival includes side activities and a short concert by a young professional string quartet, selected from the ensembles in the Le Dimore del Quartetto network.
