TRIO HERMES

Formed by the musicians Ginevra Bassetti, Francesca Giglio and Marianna Pulsoni, Trio Hèrmes soon came to the attention of the Italian youth music scene.

In fact, the Trio has already given concerts at festivals and concert seasons of national and international relevance such as the Festival dei Due Mondi di Spoleto, the Amici della Musica di Modena, the Società Aquilana dei Concerti B. Barattelli, the Liszt Chamber Music Festival in Rome, Musica Insieme Bologna, GoG Giovine Orchestra Genovese and the Festival delle Nazioni di Città di Castello, the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Società Letteraria di Verona, the Unione Musicale di Torino, the Accademia Filarmonica Romana.

Winner of the European Music Competition “Città di Moncalieri” 2019 and First Prize at the competition “Crescendo” in Florence 2021 and at the competition “Premio Alberghini” in Bologna, the Trio faces the study of the repertoire under the wise guidance of Trio di Parma and Pierpaolo Maurizzi attending the Second Level Master’s Degree Course in Chamber Music at the Conservatory “Arrigo Boito” in Parma. In addition, the Trio is currently a student of the Advanced Training Course in Chamber Music at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.

BRERA MUSICA | THE PROJECT

Brera/Musica is the project of the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan that explores and deepens the relationships between visual art and music, an integral part of the development of the academic, intellectual and artistic dimension of the Pinacoteca’s works.

From 16 March to 21 December, the musicians of Le Dimore del Quartetto, in dialogue with curator and art historian Alessandra Montalbetti, introduce the public to the atmospheres of the pictorial and musical landscapes that are the protagonists of this edition.

Concerts are online on the third Thursday of each month, starting at 6 p.m., on the website of the Pinacoteca di Brera and Le Dimore del Quartetto.
