Ida Di Vita, violin

After the introduction of the string quartet, both as a chamber music formation and as a metaphor for collaboration, which took place on the occasion of the previous appointments with  Quartetto Alla Maniera Italiana and Quartetto Goldberg, and after “L’epica del quotidiano” workshops organized by the Fondazione Arnoldo e Alberto Mondadori, Quartetto Indaco retraces the path taken with the classes with a concluding meeting.

THE PROJECT "ABITO"

ABITO is a civic education path that accompanies middle school students in a journey towards responsible citizenship, through the universal languages of art and culture. ABITO thought and promoted by a group of cultural institutions governed by women that have at heart the development of an equal society: Le Dimore del Quartetto, Fondazione Arnoldo e Alberto Mondadori, Triennale Milano Teatro, Museo Teatrale alla Scala, Equaly e Italia Music Lab.

Within this context, Le Dimore del Quartetto proposes the project MetaFour, words and music with a string quartet that raises awareness on the importance of collaboration, listening and of all those values that are fundamental in a civil society.

The first edition of ABITO will be held at Istituto Comprensivo Rinnovata Pizzigoni in Milan from September to December 2022 with the support of Fondazione EOS – Edison Orizzonte Sociale.
