THE STRING CIRCLE

copertina sito TSC 0

The first network enhancing the high-quality lutherie and supporting the career

of young musicians in a circular economy

The new project The String Circle created by Le Dimore del Quartetto and Fondazione Museo del Violino Antonio Stradivari is online!

The idea was born to respond, on the one hand, to the desire to enhance the art and professionalism of the Master Luthier by intercepting a specific audience and, on the other, to the need for quality instruments for young musicians at the beginning of their careers: starting from these needs, The String Circle was born, a widespread Network of Master Luthiers that facilitates international exchange between these two figures, promoting their professional and artistic growth.

The String Circle is a platform that connects the excellence of Italian and international violin making with the new generation of the best chamber musicians.

In May the first meetings between luthiers and musicians will begin: on May 9th and 10th Cuarteto Iberia will be in Cremona to try the instruments of Maestros Luca Baratto, Marco Nolli and Stefano Trabucchi.

dimore quartetto Archos 1

ARCHOS QUARTET

The Archos Quartet introduces us to the music of Leone Sinigaglia, an Italian composer who lived at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The musicians of the Archos Quartet offer a convincing and refined interpretation of the four works present in the proposed playlist.
Very appreciable the well balanced sound and the conscious reading of the ensemble.
Worth listening to.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Enjoy,
Simone Gramaglia

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US

"We went to Venice to perform at an event at the Venice Biennale. It was magical and a little surreal. As always, thanks to Le Dimore del Quartetto who made another adventure possible for us!"

Alinea Quartet
April 23rd 2022

"We're delighted to join the family of Le Dimore del Quartetto. We are very happy to be part of this prestigious institution, with which we already have many projects planned. We are sure that it will be a first level human and artistic experience!"
Cuarteto Iberia
May 2nd 2022

"I wanted to thank Le Dimore del Quartetto for allowing us to enjoy the beautiful performance of Schubert's Quintet in C major last Saturday, April 30th at our place in Torre del Lago. The Dulce in Corde Quartet was integrated with the presence of cellist Lorenzo Phelan.
The audience was enthusiastic and attentive, despite the fact that the Quintet in C is one of the longest, most complex and articulated of Schubert's works.
Everyone followed with great concentration and emotion, and in the end they honoured to the ensemble great success."
