THE STRING CIRCLE

The String Circle_logo piccolo
On April 6th Le Dimore de Quartetto and Fondazione Museo del Violino Antonio Stradivari presented the new project The String Circle, the first network enhancing the high-quality lutherie and supporting the career of young musicians in a circular economy.
The project, conceived by Le Dimore del Quartetto and promoted in collaboration with Fondazione Museo del Violino Antonio Stradivari, connects the excellence of the art of lutherie with the new promising generation of musicians through the international mapping of the best artisan workshops.
Musicians of the ensembles that are part of Le Dimore del Quartetto network can be connected to award-winning luthiers for the free loan for use of bows and instruments. At the end of the loan, the instruments can be redeemed at a favorable price.
The workshops flagged in the map can also be reference points for ensembles when they need luthier support, materials or repairs around Europe.

LE DIMORE DEL QUARTETTO AND DA VINCI PUBLISHING

dimore_quartetto_davinci_publishing
Le Dimore del Quartetto is happy to start a collaboration with Da Vinci Publishing.
Da Vinci Publishing is an independent publisher of music recordings and scores. It was founded in 2015 in Osaka, Japan, by Edmondo Filippini.
Musicians of Le Dimore del Quartetto network can benefit from favorable deals for recording projects.
Da Vinci Publishing began as a small-sized reality, and its beginning were dedicated to contemporary music. From that moment, and almost immediately, the Da Vinci catalogue opened itself to large-scale productions, including the complete recording of Bach’s keyboard works and the complete recording of Mozart’s and Beethoven’s Keyboard on instruments of the period. The Society established partnerships leading it, within a short time, to the publication of approximately 150 recordings and 200 scores every year.
