THE CHIANTI CLASSICO OF TENUTA DI BIBBIANO

The Tenuta di Bibbiano is located in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti, at about 300 meters above sea level, on a mixed geological platform of Pliocene origin overlooking the Val d’Elsa and the Monteriggioni castle. In Chianti Classico it is among the oldest companies belonging to the same family.
Both the Chianti Classico Bibbiano Annata 2018 and the Chianti Classico Bibbiano Riserva 2016 are produced with grapes grown on both sides of the property. While the first is the oenological expression of all the company's territorial characteristics, the Chianti Classico Riserva represents a tribute to the tradition of the area.

THE WHITE WINES OF VILLA TOTTI
|
|
The wines of Villa Totti are produced by the Terre del Sillabo winery, which exclusively cultivates and vinifies the grapes of the Villa Totti di Mutigliano vineyard.
Terre del Sillabo by Giampi and Clara Moretti is located at the beginning of Valfreddana - north-western summit of the province of Lucca. It produces on average 15,000 bottles a year without ever buying grapes or wine from third parties, even in the most unfavorable harvests: what they bottle is born only in those lands. They harvest from vines on average now thirty years old, and the first bottled vintage was 1993.
Here they offer us two of their now "classic" whites, currently on the market. In fact, Terre del Sillabo considers whites to be like a prominent red, looking for complexity and richness in them: they perform long refinements and come on sale only when a wine seems to have reached a right level of maturity, regardless of the harvest in which it is born.
