Le Dimore del Quartetto is based on the exchange of resources, which returns benefits to participants in a circular economy. We have always valued the beauty of historic houses through the organization of artistic residencies and concerts of our ensembles. In this particular time we have decided to support the houses that manage agricultural and production activities by creating a newsletter dedicated to them.

SABATINI GIN AND SABATINI OIL

Sabatini Gin is the first London Dry Gin born from the love of the Sabatini Family for their land and for the aperitif ritual. It is characterized by nine Mediterranean botanicals that grow autochthonously around Villa Ugo, the historic home of the family in Cortona, in the province of Arezzo. The distillation, entrusted to the expert hands of the master distiller Charles Maxwell, takes place following traditional distillation practices, ensuring the high quality of the distillate. Sabatini Oil is added to Sabatini Gin, 100% Tuscan extra virgin olive oil: a real juice of olives with a full-bodied and powerful flavor.

Fiammetta Inga, mother of the current owner, moved to Podere Marella in 1974 and began the production of wine shortly afterwards, creating one of the first Italian organic cellars. Forty years later, the company continues the production of wine in which the pursuit of quality is central: the manual harvest, the rigorous selection of the grapes and the supervision of the French winemaker Jean Natoli guarantee excellence and continuous improvement.

The Trasimeno Bean is a tiny bean of very ancient origins coming from Africa and introduced into the territories of Lake Trasimeno thanks to the commercial activity of the Etruscans.

The Trasimeno Beans and Podere Marella Red Lentils are grown according to traditional techniques, and are certified organic by the BioAgriCert control body.
