The Jeunesses Musicales International Chamber Music Campus is one of the world’s most renowned masterclasses of its kind.

For 11 days, young ensembles work with international artists, including one of the leading string quartets of the young generation. The Artistic Director is Heime Müller, Artemis Quartett’s former violinist and tutor of violin and chamber music classes at the Lübeck Academy of Music and Queen Sofía College of Music in Madrid.

An advanced training programme focused on concert activity, aimed at pre-formed chamber ensembles, from trios to quintets. The course consists of ten monthly sessions, each lasting three days, of which two will be led by Enrico Pace, who will focus on the preparation of the artistic performance.
|

|
|
|
A concert-oriented training path, designed for pre-established ensembles, which combines the main lessons with a range of complementary activities, including masterclasses with renowned artists as Guest Professors, workshops on chamber music repertoire and numerous artistic projects.
|
|
|
|
|

The Stauffer Foundation fully covers the tuition fees for the Academy’s courses,

exempting admitted students from any payment.

Their extensive discography and collaborations with artists like Leif Ove Andsnes, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Alexander Melnikov, Adrien La Marca, Clemens Hagen and the Borodin Quartet solidify their presence on major concert stages worldwide.

Every July, the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival brings together top musicians and educators from around the world for two weeks of performances and masterclasses. From July 12th to 26th, the Kuhmo Chamber Music Courses offer high-level training for advanced students and passionate amateurs, including chamber music coaching, solo lessons, workshops with festival artists, and student concerts. The programme also features improvisation sessions and lectures on string and keyboard instruments.

Since 1995 the summer music camp in Bardonecchia has given students the opportunity to be taught by internationally famous musicians in a residential course offering masterclasses in piano, violin, cello and chamber music. Students in the courses also perform in public as the camp organises thirty concerts for the people of Bardonecchia.

12th OSAKA INTERNATIONAL
CHAMBER MUSIC COMPETITION

Founded in 1992, the Japan Chamber Music Foundation promotes chamber music and launched the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition in 1993. Held every three years, the competition attracts talented young ensembles worldwide, with prizes awarded by internationally renowned musicians.
|
|
|
|
The Competition is open to ensembles of all nationalities, whose members were born on or after May 18th, 1990. In the Competition, Section I features String Quartet, while Section II focuses on Piano Trio and Piano Quartet.
Prizes include monetary awards for the top three ensembles in both sections. The first-prize winners of each section will be invited to perform in a concert tour (called Grand-Prix Concerts). They will give about ten concerts to be held across Japan.

The competition intends to promote young people and their talent, reward their dedication to chamber music, stimulate musical and cultural exchange.

Ensembles whose average age does not exceed 35 years on the date of the competition are eligible to participate. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners, with concert engagements for First Prize winners.
The Jury will be chaired by Maestro Bruno Giuranna, alongside other distinguished figures from the Italian chamber music scene.
